Goals

This fund aims at connecting to and supporting fully vetted LGBTI equality projects and groups from around the world.

In particular the fund will support basic capacity building, refugee resettlement, and provide capital purchase funding for organizations in both resource-poor countries and for marginalized populations such as youth, transgender, intersex, individuals and women. Supports to specific campaigns to achieve policy goals such as non-discrimination protections, decriminalization of homosexuality, legal gender recognition, and marriage.

Myriad Canada’s role is to carry out charitable activities across the globe in accordance with its charitable purposes. We control and monitor the use of funds and the progress of charitable activities to ensure that donations made to Myriad Canada have the greatest impact in accordance with donors’ expressed wishes. As a member of the Myriad Alliance with offices in Canada, the US, Europe, Asia and Australia, Myriad Canada has a vast international network and extensive practical expertise.
