Thanks to the revenues from our own Endowment Fund, we are able to minimize our Administrative Fees. Only a portion of our Operating Costs is covered by the Fees we charge on donations.
Fee structure
Myriad Canada charges a management fee to cover the due diligence and operational expenses associated with administering international charitable projects. A minimum 95% of the money raised for the projects goes directly to the charitable activities.
For donations without invested assets: Myriad Canada charges a management fee calculated on an annual basis and per project, as follows:
- 5% on the first $100,000;
- 3% on the next $400,000;
- 1% on the next $500,000;
- 0,5% on additional amount above $1,000,000.
Myriad Canada covers wire transfer fees.
Donations by credit card: 3% transaction fee (from credit card company).
No set-up or vetting costs.
Examples:
- For a $50,000 project, our fees are $2,500 (5%)
- For a $250,000 project, our fees are $9,500 (3.8%)
- For a $1,000,000 project, our fees are $22,000 (2.2%)
- For a $5,000,000 project, our fees are $42,000 (0.84%)
For Donor Advised Funds with invested assets: Myriad Canada charges a management fee of 0.8% of the invested assets per year for the administration and operational management of the charitable activities. This fee excludes any bank or brokerage fees for the financial management of the capital charged by a financial institution. We do not charge initial set-up, due diligence, or legal fees.
Example: for an amount of $1,000,000 CAD, our fees are $8,000/year.
