2017 Autumn edition of KBF’s International Newsletter
This Newsletter highlights how the King Baudouin Foundation works both to respond to the changing needs of society and to offer long-term support to a variety of projects. It includes articles about the Forton Fund, which has been supporting research on cystic fibrosis for the past 20 years, and the US arm of the King Baudouin Foundation, which also celebrates 20 years of philanthropic endeavours in 2017.
At the other end of the scale, we have an article celebrating the creation of the Jean Capart Fund, which will support the efforts of this celebrated Egyptologist’s family to bring together his research and make it accessible for a wide audience. The launch of Myriad Canada is also announced.
And, as always, we remain deeply focused on helping to tackle the societal problems facing Europe and the wider world today. Articles examining the results of a Chatham House study on attitudes towards Europe and research on the importance of meeting the needs of young refugees arriving in Europe are great examples of this commitment.
